They venue has a reputation for being disabled-friendly - glad to learn that it's well-deserved. |

The entire show was fantastic but I thought Equator was just amazing and it made tears roll down my cheeks! Just typing this, brought it all flooding back and I'm welling up now, a day and a half later. Well worth the wait. _________________ Gonna hang myself from my family tree. |

'she got me pregnant' has burned an imprint into my brain i fear (in a good way). i think i had a dream with those dancers in it. i loved when they surrounded ron and took their glasses off to glare at him. _________________ nothing is sacred anymore |

Yes, that was most amusing. They didn't just take their glasses off; they held them at arms length towards him!
I noticed last year's Smiles-on-sticks were not used by the band this time. _________________ Gonna hang myself from my family tree.

yes, they did! it's nice that ron has an outlet for all his psychodramas, it's that supportive family environment that's made him the legend that he is i reckon

An absolute privilege to watch such an exceptional performance in the company of so many devoted followers. Stood in awe down at the front of stage left to get a good view of Ron in full flow, a complete maestro. Exotic Creatures was an eye-opener, I'd missed out on the premiere last year, and was a complete assault on all the senses.
Kimono was stunning with 'Up Here In Heaven' being a personal highlight, together with WDIGTSMY in the encore. R&R spoil us, they really do.
Excellent venue, thought it worked really well and sound quality/accoustics were good, didn't realise it was the old 'Town And Country Club'.
Would be the perfect venue for next year's 22 shows in 22 nights if they decide against the refurbished Usher Hall in Edinburgh!!!
Great to meet so many Sparks fans from around the globe, hope you had a safe trip home.

Another wonderful gig. Watching my favourite American singer-songwriters with my favourite British singer-songwriter... Another dream come true.
Highlights for us were Monkey (was that a new video?) Heaven, Talent and all the encore.
Couldn't resist shouting out Pineapple whilst Russell was reading through all the Ron penned songs. Russell went on to have a real laugh about the Pineapple tour. _________________ Reaction

Heard KMH now three times live and i still say RFH is the best one for the ambience brought by the fans on the performance given...but... it was almost equal. And this time round Equator was the best version i ever heard live
Although ECOTD was done very wel i say the Shepards Bush one was just slightly better maybe cos it was the first time i heard it live? I did think the sound was better this time. Venue is about the same.
Like TJ i could not help shouting PINEAPPLE when Russell went through all the songs his brother had written. Looking forward to the Pineapple-tour :-)
Although i liked the 3 song encore, i did feel a bit robbed. I love to have thought that those songs were chosen at the spur of the moment... and not just planned in. It kind of kills the idea of an encore. I know there are only so many songs the band can rehears but i'm sure they know almost all the great ones by heart by now. To allow some last moment change (no pun intended).
Afterwards i managed to see SPARKS again!!! with Jonathan Ross on BBC just tuned in 3 minutes before they started played, and last night AGAIN the re-run. Got back from Slimelight tuned in and there they were again :-) _________________ "Somebody's been putting pineapple juice in my pineapple juice!"

...and what about the LOOK Ron had on his face when Russell put his brotherly arm around him during - In My Family.
Love to see that again on the DVD! _________________ "Somebody's been putting pineapple juice in my pineapple juice!"

There was very nearly a "sway" during I've Never Been High too...but it didn't quite work(too many people to-ing when they should've been fro-ing) |

A great gig indeed!
We landed at Luton Airport at 5 and at 8 we were making our way in to the Forum.
We stood hear the back - just in front of the desk.
A great performance. Three very cleverly selected wrap-up tunes too!
Very little singing and dancing going on around us and certainly no-one else 'pointing' during 'I can't beleive..'! |

This gig will always be remembered in our house as the one were i spent listening to Dick Around outside of the hall sat on a stool having my bloody pulse taken by a very friendly first aid bloke. What a total lightweight i was that night.Do'nt know how i got to the back of the hall through the crowd still standing-many thanks to her indoors for guidance..Chalk white and head spinning.Talk about embarrasing.Nothing to do with alcohol either.Lightweights R Us.I am off footy training shortly and i am going to punish myself for being such a loser and a wimp.. |

Apparently my singing was audible during The Director Never Yelled 'Cut', so apologies to those nearby who may have been offended by my dreadful vocal talents
I want to do it all over again! |

Sign up to an "image hosting site",like Photobucket(it's free)download pics from your PC into your album(step x step instructions on site)then click on the desired pic...there will be a list of options underneath it....highlight and copy the appropriate IMG code...then paste it onto the boards..sorted.
Look at me being the expert...it took me long enough to manage it...but if I can..anyone can....lol |
