Jeff Beck
June 24, 1944 - January 10, 2023, age 78.

Music fans a few years older than me knew about Jeff Beck from his work with The Yardbirds and the Jeff Beck Group.

I certainly knew his name from rock magazines but my real introduction was a bootleg copy of Ziggy's farewell show when Jeff Beck came on stage for "The Jean Genie/Love Me Do".

Most notably a touring guitarist for Todd Rundgren since 1991 and a contributor to Guitar Player magazine for over 30 years.

I probably saw Jesse perform 10 times with Todd. Lighter held high.

Peter Shelley died on the 23rd of this month...it's only come to my notice today.

Best known for singles such as Gee Baby and Love Me Love My Dog...he wrote CooCaChoo and Jealous Mind for Alvin Stardust (who he managed and is said to have come up with the idea for the Alvin Stardust persona for Shane Fenton)
Hope these facts are accurate, it's just what I remember from the 70s
