Anybody else had a problem like 15 minutes ago that all of a sudden the forum was not available?

I reckon that all these recent glitches are caused by posters and not the site itself....I'm not very up on IT and the like...but I was talking to a workmate who helps run another site...and he claims that an excess of posters using a type of IP cloaking device could be the cause....and he wears sunglasses in winter...so it must be true!!

If this is caused by posters do you mean that those who experience a problem are the cause of it or do you mean some of us had problems because of other posters here? No IP-cloaking at this end... i just squash all that looks buggy coming tru my adsl-modem. LOL

It's certainly not me - I can't even cut n'paste, remember?!
But I see what Alex is getting at; we all know that there are people posting on here at the moment who are using several identities and it is perhaps their computing jiggery pokery which is buggering things up.

Quite why someone would want to invent multiple identities so they can hold online conversations with themselves is beyond me; but then so is most of the virtual world.....

I'm with GfG with this. I can use a computer to complete my everyday tasks at work but IP cloaking?? I wouldn't know how to do this even if all my concert tickets depended upon it.
