My first Sparks show was back in 1975 at Fairfield Halls in Croydon.

Gratuitous Sax and Senseless Violins tour, Edinburgh's Usher Hall. They were awesome! Russell looked great and was full of energy

. Christi Haydon was elegance abound. And, omg, how I hadn't realised just how funny Ron was!

People were pointing out how long it had been since Sparks had played Britain. I felt so privileged to have seen them but certainly had no idea

of the great shows to come.
