Please let us know if there are signs of camera activity which might bode a dvd release.
Of course talking with a couple of other posters and we agreed it would make more sense to film in The Forum(we would say that of course... )...on both nights..then we could have a dvd with 3 complete albums on it.....
call it....

I saw some smaller cameras but don't think it was for an official DVD. _________________ Break the rules and make a fool out of me |

I saw a few cameras that looked professional enough. I hope it was for a DVD. |

In another thread someone mentioned that pictures/recordings on mobiles were prohibited. Perhaps without that kind of interference the performance is meant to be worthy for a professional film? That would be so wonderful, wouldn't it? :) _________________ Last.fm.

They were very militant about any random recordings. I definitely saw some cameras on stage that looked pretty professional and was assuming that would be for a DVD. The performance certainly warranted it. Great show. |

I saw a couple of guys with steady cams on either side of the stage and there were a couple of cameras towards the back of the Hall. It would be a sin not to have something from this concert. I am not being biased 'cos it's Sparks but I can safely say it was the best concert I have ever been to! _________________ I'm Not .... Getting dressed today! |

Maybe the board moderators or fan club officials or someone could just...tell us if it's being filmed or not? It's not like it would be a secret or anything, right? _________________ Check out my new YouTube show all about Sparks and their fans! It was definitely filmed. But now that I think about it, there were no signs around that said the usual "by attending this concert, your likeness may be used in a DVD..." legal stuff.
They were really, really strict about cameras and even asked us not to use our cellphones to call/text friends during the gig. I suspect that must all mean something? I do hope it's released. |

All venues usually have this disclaimer(usually in tiny tiny writing..)somewhere,like a ticket stub...whether the show is being filmed or not. |

Alas, I can't find a disclaimer on my ticket or in the program. A missed opportunity, that's for sure! I did see what appeared to be a couple of video cameras on a table behind the orchestra seating. They didn't appear to be anything fancy, but the placement made them look official. Fingers crossed! _________________ "Gratitude for having thought of me. How cool this show was filmed. I didn't see the official cameras, but I noticed the mics on stage to get crowd noise. |

Wouldn't it be smarter for them to film the London shows? Two shows in a row, so it would be possible to shoot ECOTD two times - so any mistakes can be edited out etc...? |

What's the point in editing out 'mistakes'? That's what a live show is. As is. No overdubbing or changing anything. _________________ Now your jokes seem really funny

I'm not talking about overdubbing, but things that go wrong. Problems in the soundmix, someone stumbles over a wire or whatever. Plus you have more options when editing, because you've got twice as much video...
Plus - how great would it be to have ECODT as the main feature plus Kimono AND Number 1 as bonusmaterial? :D |
