Highlighting a very special concert with Gemma Ray & band, accompanied by the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg.
Sadly, I can't afford to make the trip on Easyjet due to persisting unemployment. However, the gig must be tempting to fellow Sparks fans within reach.
Saturday, January 25th at the incredible Nikolaisaal Theater in Potsdam, just outside Berlin (address: Wilhelm-Staab-Straße 10-11, 14467 Potsdam).
Gemma Ray, together with Carwyn Ellis, Andrew Zammit, Ed Turner, Maria Goja, Petra Nachtmanova, plus the 60 member-strong Filmorchester Babelsberg (conducted by Scott Lawton) will be premiering songs from her forthcoming album (details TBA) as well as songs from Island Fire and Lights Out Zoltar !

It is recommended that you don't miss this one, and if you want to impress someone with a sophisticated evening of wonder and delight - this is your chance.
Some of us have heard how good Gemma and her band sound live. Now with a fine orchestra, that'll be AWESOME. |

I asked her on FB if the Concert was recorded. Got a Nod so hopefully one day it will be put out ...
The New "Death Disc"I did not manage to get Hold of as It was on Limited Release on Record Store Day.. Hopefully it will be on sale at one of her Forthcoming UK gigs in June, Will have to catch one of them ..
The Tracks on Quietus .. I sort of like it. There is another Version out as well I think on the Picture Disc..

Sorry I should've spotted that Gemma is on tour but haven't been much online of late. Her website http://gemmaray.tv/ is always worth checking out for updates. Sadly I can't manage a trip to any dates due to lack of finance due to unemployability combined with clashes with one-off unretractable commitments.
