Same in New Jersey. Extreme heat alert. Intense thunderstorms at times. Very humid, of course.

I'm glad I'm not working today, we expect 40°C in a few hours...
Cologne should be a little bit cooler tonight, which is good for our lads!

Went to gym for an HIIT class and had a sauna after ( perverse in this heat I know 😂) the benefits of the refreshing cool shower afterwards vanished as soon as I stepped out into the midday sun. Car was an oven despite parking in the shade!
The few clouds in the sky formed an incomplete sundog rainbow. This usually means rain will follow in a few hours but I think it is more wishful thinking today
