I agree it was one of the highlights of the night and I'm sure Russell said he'd enjoyed singing it so much it would definately be in the ultimate encore.

GOOFING OFF is a fantastic song, an anthem, combining true musical wealth with profound, sarcastic lyrics, an ideal representative of the Mael brothers talent. The climactic Russian-style guitar solo is among the very best I've ever heard. I waited 31 years to hear it live and I was there too a week ago, they did such an amazing job. I *must* hear it again live too, I'm returning to London on the 13th. But I won't vote for it yet, as I hope this song has enough votes already. -- Can we see the current ranking at all?

Yes, sorry Alex you are quite right about Russell's vote - but I'm sure I remember him saying something encouraging about wanting Goofing Off in the encore list.
